To assist our client in keeping their strong and growing industry staffed, Chandler Macleod are taking applications for Trade Qualified Electricians for their Griffith based facilities. There are multiple roles available within their livestock farms, poultry processing plants and grain distribution plants. If you are a Trade Qualified Electrician with experience in industrial or food manufacturing, we are looking for you!

Core Tasks

• Perform manual soldering/desoldering- electrical/electronic components
• Interpret technical drawings
• Install, test, terminate and connect electrical wiring
• Enter and change programable controller basic operational parameters
• Use hand and power tools
• Fault find/repair electrical equipment components
• Disconnect / reconnect fixed wire equipment
• Maintain / service analog/digital electronic equipment
• Isolate / shutdown machines / equipment
• Maintain, repair and tune control instrumentation single and multiple loop control systems.
  
  Critical Qualification, Skills and Experience Required
• Trade Qualification
• Previous experience in working within a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Initiative and willingness to learn electrical works in the poultry industry
• Solid communication skills, both written and oral
