About the role
The Team Leader (Cleaning and Production) is responsible for upholding the hygiene standards of the production facility in line with GMP and HACCP requirements. This role involves leading the cleaning team and actively participating in hands-on tasks when necessary to meet these requirements, ensuring food safety and delivering high-quality products to our customers. This role will also support the production coordinators in after-hours production operations.
Duties include but not limited to
- Leading the cleaning team, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality outcomes
- Adhere to cleaning schedules to ensure operational start up
- Manage tasks of the cleaning team
- Ensure labour efficiency is met
- Ensure adequate stock levels are always maintained
- Work with production coordinators and assist with production
- Be hands on with cleaning tasks
- Maintaining cleanliness of the offices, amenities, and break rooms
- Removing general waste and recycling bins
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising
- Disinfecting common areas
- Cleaning production equipment including washing production bins
- Cleaning windows and glass as required
- Safe handling of cleaning chemicals
- Any other general cleaning duties as directed
Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience
- Ability to foster relationships
- Strong Communication skills
- Previous Experience in this field
- Ability to work shift work and weekends
- Willingness to obtain working at heights/EWP ticket
- Ability to work at heights

- Forklift Licence
