Role
The role of Factory Cleaning Attendant is responsible for a range of general cleaning duties across our entire Leeton Processing Plant.
Duties include but not limited to
- Maintaining the office, amenities, and break rooms
- Removing general waste and recycling bins
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising
- Disinfecting common areas
- Cleaning production equipment including washing production bins
- Cleaning windows and glass as required
- Safe handling of cleaning chemicals
- Any other general cleaning duties as directed
Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience
- Commitment to safety and understanding of safe cleaning practices
- Prior cleaning experience
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work shift work and weekends
- Willingness to obtain working at heights/EWP ticket
- Ability to work at heights
Desirable
- Prior experience working in a food processing environment
